So you want to learn to surf? Here’s the low down to book your surf lesson…and make your Ballito Holiday a memorable one.
The Dolphin Coast is blessed with some awesome surf spots, and we are blessed with some of SA’s top surfers! If you want to learn to surf, then Ballito Surf School is just for you! They offer group and private lessons from complete beginner to intermediate starting from ages 8-60. Lessons are approximately 1hr long and subject to weather condition and tides on the day.
Ballito Surf School operates from two main beaches: Willards main beach (Ballito) and Tiffany’s beach (Salt Rock) during the December period. Each lesson includes a trained surf instructor for the duration of the session. Group lessons consist of 2+ people with a ratio of 1 instructor: 3 students.
They provide all the equipment needed such as learn to surf boards, rash vests, wetsuits, wax and sunscreen.
